The leather of this belt is 100% full grain leather. Full grain means that the complete thickness of the skin is used. The leather will keep its strength and will age beautifully as the leather will soften and the color will deepen. The leather is vegetal tanned in Italy, so without use of any chemicals. No animal has been killed for its skin only. The buckle is made of ZAMAC (= combination of Zinc, Aluminium, Magnesium and Copper). Zamak die-casting process disperses negligible emission levels in the air and in the water. Furthermore, production waste is recyclable and energy consumption is very low.
