Introducing our latest addition to the Upcycled Collection: vibrant vests crafted from up cycled fabrics.
Welcome to our Upcycled Collection Page, where sustainability meets style in every stitch. Each piece in this curated selection tells a story of renewal, transforming surplus materials into fashion-forward garments that make a statement while minimizing waste. quality or beauty. We're giving them a second chance at life.
We're all about embracing slow fashion, vehemently opposing the fast fashion industry. Our mission is to raise awareness and encourage mindful consumption. Through these projects, we breathe new life into 'older' items, proving that sustainability doesn't compromise.Â
For our new Upcycling Collection, we visited B&T Textilia, a weavery near Ghent, Belgium. Among their many beautiful fabrics, we discovered pieces set aside by customers or with minor imperfections – for us, a true treasure of craftsmanship and incredibly valuable. We carefully selected the fabrics that caught our eye and harmonized beautifully with our New Summer collection.
From these exceptional materials, we created six unique vests at UCO Atelier, our trusted upcycle studio in Ghent. Available in both short and long sleeves, these standout vests are the perfect way to elevate any outfit.
This winter, our Upcycle Capsule continues with a new knitwear reinterpretation.
Together with COUSY — our trusted partner for high-quality knitwear — we transformed our OLIVER debardeur into a warm and versatile zip-up knitted sweater.
Rather than redesigning the piece entirely, we built on the original OLIVER shape. Each debardeur was elevated with long sleeves and a refined stand collar with zip — all carefully knitted using leftover yarns from the original OLIVER production. No new materials, just thoughtful additions that bring the piece into a new season.
The result is a contemporary winter essential that remains true to the character of the original design. The sweaters come in three timeless shades: ivory, dark blue, and beige, each one subtly unique.
A beloved classic, reimagined for colder days.
Limited quantities — crafted with intention, available while they last.
Our new Upcycle Capsule Collection features a limited run of silk skirts — crafted from stunning deadstock kimono pieces. In collaboration with UCO atelier in Ghent, we gave these 100% silk kimonos a fresh new life by turning them into playful yet elegant skirts.
We opted for a bottom piece instead of a top, letting the original kimono borders shine as unique hem details. Each skirt is one-of-a-kind, with prints and colors carefully placed to highlight the beauty of the fabric.
The skirts come in five different prints and two sizes: S/M and M/L - each with a soft elastic waistband for an easy, flexible fit.
Each skirt is made from one kimono — nothing wasted, everything reimagined. Be quick — quantities are very limited.
Our High-Summer Capsule Collection features the Anna, Alice, and Ariel halter tops. Once again working with UCO, these tops are crafted from upcycled Italian 100% silk blouses, combining style with sustainability. Each top's unique print and expert craftsmanship reflect our ongoing dedication to eco-friendly fashion.
This exclusive high-summer collection will be available on the 19th of June, launching on the first day of summer. Each halter top in this collection is carefully and thoughtfully crafted and can be styled in numerous ways. From a classic evening to a chic wedding, these tops can do it all!
The 'Holly' kimono embodies our commitment to sustainability, created in collaboration with Sara and Johanna of the circular workshop UCO.Â
Fashioned from upcycled Belgian woven scarves, each kimono is meticulously crafted in a family-based weaving factory, highlighting the woven nature of the scarves. With its asymmetrical elements and intricate sewing, the 'Holly' kimono transforms deadstock into a striking, zero-waste statement piece. The kimono is available in royal blue and vibrant red.
This season, we joined forces with renÄ“e to unveil an exclusive collection of upcycled kimonos in celebration of Fashion Revolution Week.Â
This collaboration breathes new life into vintage K&J kimono fabrics, expertly crafted with renÄ“e's signature patchwork technique. Each kimono is meticulously handmade at renÄ“e's workshop in Gent, embodying the unique personality of both brands.Â
With a focus on sustainability, the collection highlights the importance of repurposing materials and minimizing waste. Available in three striking color combinations, these kimonos offer a fresh take on eco-conscious fashion.
Introducing our collaboration with De Kemphaan, where we've created both our cushion collection and tote bags. Initially, we partnered on crafting the cushions, and due to the success and satisfaction with their work, we recently extended the collaboration to design our tote bags.Â
Crafted with care and expertise, these products showcase our commitment to supporting local organizations while bringing comfort and style to your home and daily life.
The CLINCH X K&J cookie bag is a patchwork of 100% silk scarves from previous collections of K&J, made by hand in the CLINCH atelier in Antwerp.
Anne Van Damme (CLINCH founder) and Cathérine Standaert (K&J founder) have wanted to collaborate for a long time and were simply waiting for the right inspiration to strike.
When it came to creating the handbag, Kate & Anne knew they wanted to produce a light, fresh, eye-catching piece that combined both of their styles and was easy to wear. Something you could grab for an on-the-go errand or take with you on a weekend away.
