This belt is 100% leather. The upper part is top-grain leather. It is produced from the hide but the outermost layer is sanded off so that any imperfection or irregularities are removed. Beautiful in bright colors. The backing of the belt is made of reconstructed leather. The 2 leathers are glued together. The leather was chrome-tanned in Italy according to the European regulations, they use CHROME VI which brings no harm to the workers nor to the environment. No animal has been killed for its skin only. Furthermore, production waste is recyclable and energy consumption is very low.
