The leather of this belt is 100% leather. The upper part is suede leather. This is the back side of the skin and is known for its softness and flexibility. We love suede because of the variety of colors. The backing of the belt is reconstructed leather. The 2 leathers are glued together. The leather is chrome-tanned in Italy according to the European regulations, they use CHROME VI which brings no harm to the workers nor to the environment. No animal has been killed for its skin only. The buckle is made of ZAMAC (= combination of Zinc, Aluminium, Magnesium and Copper). Zamak die-casting process disperses negligible emission levels in the air and in the water. Furthermore, production waste is recyclable and energy consumption is very low.
