These pants are made of 100% twill silk. Twill stands for the weave technique, which gives a strong connection between threads. This technique gives the surface of the fabric a moderate shine, not as shiny as satin. Silk Twill combines the utilitarian strength of the twill weave with the natural strength of silk. In this sense it offers the best of both worlds.
