As the pandemic continues to shape our everyday lives, we’ve realized more than ever before how important taking care of our mental health can be. Many of us have been isolated from our support network, our friends, family, and loved ones, for so long now and it’s not been easy.
For young people who struggle with their mental health, who have difficulties fitting in at the best of times, it’s undoubtedly been incredibly difficult.
Luckily, there are incredible organizations out there who are here to help - Gooikenshoeve is one of these organizations and we are so proud to support what they do in some small way.
Gooikenshoeve offers space for psychologically and socially vulnerable young people from 17 to 25 years of age to find some peace in their mind, a moment away from their struggles where they can be part of meaningful daytime activities.
Recently, Gooikenshoeve has launched a new initiative called the Mikori Project, hand-making gorgeous “handle with care & love” bracelets in 2 colors with all proceeds going directly to the Gooikenshoeve support services.
